Harriet Tubman's Journey

       She was a spy, she never lost a passenger. You may know her as the slave who escaped and led other slaves through the underground tunnels, or as the key to the many slaves that were saved, well her name is Harriet Tubman. She was born a slave and escaped and started her way on a journey that would make her a very important unsung hero today.  Harriet Tubman was born around the estimate of 1820 or 1822 and died in 1913 on March, 10. She was born a slave in Dorchester County, Maryland. Harriet in fact did have siblings, 8 and her being the 9th. She escaped slavery in 1849 because of an injury and her owner had passed away. Once she had realized that she was now free and didn't get caught, she started her journey to find and rescue her 8 siblings in Philadelphia. Homework debate

  There are many pros and cons of homework. It also runs by opinion. You may like homework, or you may not. It may be stressful for you or it may be easy for you. But the pros and cons are opinions, and facts.       One pro of homework is it helps kids get a better study habit for later life. This is a pro because when you have a study habit, it will help you when you get to high school, college, or your job. If you practice and study with homework, when you have a test you need to study for, it won't be as hard to remember to study, and to study.            A con of homework is, many children of all ages can get over stressed with their homework. This also happens when teachers give too much homework, and it can become very stressful or cause anxiety because children are struggling to get it done. 70 percent of children say that homework can be very stressful and hard.
