World hunger

  Children and families are going hungry everyday, for many different reasons. In fact, more than 16 million children go hungry every year, just in the US. We need to do something about goal number 2 now, because nobody deserves to be starved.  Many families and children are going hungry each day due to the lack of food in their area they live in. Many times it is hard to grow crops in certain areas of land because of the conditions or climate. Some places are too dry to grow crops, so when crops do grow they sell for a lot, so their economy makes money. Crops can range up to, $0.64-$2.67 per pound. Because of this, many families can not afford to buy the food to feed their families. Another main problem with world hunger is having to buy school lunch. This is a huge problem because many people can't afford to pay for school lunch every day. Many schools have stopped the need to pay for lunches, but some remain to keep children paying. Saving our oceans

  The ocean is at risk. There are many things that are harming the oceans. For example pollution. Pollution is arming not just the ocean but things in the ocean. The pollution and other things that are being put and going into the ocean, aren't just affecting that but other living things outside of the ocean. It may not look that bad right now, but it will get worse if we don't do something about this now. We need to start now before it’s too late to go back.   One of the many things affecting our oceans is oil. There are many oil spills and oil being dumped into the ocean. Many times oil is dumped into a river, or there is an oil spill, the oil from there continues its way to the ocean. Because of that marine life and animals can die, because of the toxins in the oil.
