The Kashmir Conflict

The Kashmir conflict is a conflict between India and Pakistan. This argument has led to wars, and other countries getting in on the argument. The whole thing started because Pakistan wouldn't sign the Line Of Control. I believe that Kashmir should be its own country, and Kashmir should have had a say in the conflict, because it was over who gets them. Also the conflict could have been avoided, or solved a different way other than war.

First I believe, Pakistan should have signed the line of Control, and this would have avoided many things such as war, arguments, deaths, and loss of money. If Pakistan would have signed the line everything would have been settled and nothing would have happened. Around 3,000 people that have been killed because of the conflict just in 2002. This shows that there where many more deaths in the other years during the war and when the conflict started. Also they lost a ton of money during the war. As you can see because Pakistan didn’t sign the line, many bad things happened, and many of those things could have been avoided if they had signed it.

Also in my opinion, I think Kashmir should be its own country, because then there would be no fighting on who gets it. I believe this because the whole conflict is over who gets Kashmir, and they aren't even listening to the people of Kashmir. All the people living in Kashmir want peace, but they are receiving the opposite. Kashmir being its own country, would not only give them peace, but would also settle a tone of disagreements, and avoid further wars and arguments. That is why I believe Kashmir should be its own country, and should have been the whole time.

As you can see that is why I believe that Kashmir should have had a say and should be its own country, and should have been the whole time. The kashmir conflict has more to it, but this is just the evidence to my opinion.

  2. Nice job, you do have a few typos though. I like how you used some of those transitional phrases.
